It was so amazing to go down into the canyon as we learned about the rock layers, fossils, and canyon formation and how they point to a worldwide flood. Dana was a great guide. We loved it!

The Grand Canyon is beautiful!! We were given information about biblical evidences and geological proofs. The challenging part was we didn't really know how far the hike was and the intensity. It was really difficult for me to finish the hike. It's a moderate level hike, it was really hot and it was difficult to concentrate due to these things. For anyone that is older meaning upper 50's or older if you are new to hiking and haven't prepared it may not be a good fit for you. Viator didn't do a very good job explaining any of these things, so I don't know whose fault that was. The guide knew so much. We just couldn't fully appreciate it all because of the above. You will get a lot of information. Our guide had pictures and information to ho along with it all. She was really well prepared and definitely encouraging as I was struggling to finish. The hike was 3 and a half miles. I went with my daughter. I am 59 and walk a lot, but the heat , altitude and steepness was almost more than I could do.

The Grand Canyon is awe inspiring and it can catch you off guard if you're not careful. We are so happy that you were able to make it out safe. We hope that you were still able to pick up a few things from the guide. Thank you again for coming to see a different view of the canyon with us.
