Descend more than 1,000 feet into the awe-inspiring depths of the Grand Canyon on one of the most scenic trails at the South Rim. Get face-to-face with some of the canyon’s most beautiful rock layers showcasing the Flood in Noah's day. See fossils and majestic viewpoints as you learn about the biblical message of the Grand Canyon.

Led by our expert guides who possess Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and are authorized by the National Park Service, this inner-canyon hiking tour takes you into the Grand Canyon via the South Kaibab Trail down to Cedar Ridge and back up. The historic ridgeline trail offers one of the best panoramic views of the canyon and is a favorite of many hikers traversing the canyon from one side to the other.

Requires a minimum of 2 participants.

We were completely awestruck by the majesty of the Grand Canyon. It was our first time seeing this magnificent place and we can not imagine taking this hike with any other tour company that would not do the GC justice. Canyon Ministries does a superb job of explaining the processes that took place to form it. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention our guide, Paul. He not only is very knowledgeable, but also he picked up on the different personalities in our family of 5. He was very attentive to each of us and our needs. While as a family we all have embraced the young earth creation, we came away from our tour of the Grand Canyon with a whole new set of eyes and much deeper understanding. So much so, that we will be back! We are definitely going to plan a backpacking trip in the future. Time to start training! Thank you Paul & Thank you Grand Canyon Ministries for a hiking trip of a lifetime! It has transformed us in more ways than you can imagine.

It was great. I would never be able to do the trail without the tour guide . Eddie was very patient and supportive. The biblical perspective is very interesting. Eddie was very knowledgest in both geology and theology.

BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!! If you’re at the Grand canyon, I HIGHLY recommend doing at least one of Canyon Ministries’ tours/hikes. I stumbled upon their site and decided to book, and it was truly God at work. Each tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, genuine, and just a pleasure to be around. There’s no better way to experience and expand your knowledge of the Canyon than by doing so with God. If you need a sign, this is it!!
