Somes Sound
Somes Sound is a fjard, a body of water running deep into Mount Desert Island, the main site of Acadia National Park in Maine, United States. Its deepest point is approximately 175 feet, and it is over 100 feet deep in several places. The sound almost splits the island in two.

Seawall Pond
Many of Maine's beaches are covered with cobblestones, but this coastline is unique. Powerful ocean storms created a massive seawall. As waves break, they carry rocks from the base of the beach and carry them up to shore. As the tides come in and out, heavier stones get piled at the top and smaller, lighter stones remain down the slope.
13
Bar Harbor
All of our tours start and end by going through the historic corridors of Bar Harbor.

**Acadia National Park Tour** Had a great 6-hour tour of Acadia National Park with Bill Thurston from At Your Service Tours. Bill shared interesting stories about the park's history and the people who helped establish it. The tour was informative and enjoyable, offering beautiful views and engaging narratives. We loved the tour soo much. Pete was a wonderful guide! He provided us with a great experience from beginning to end. He worked with what we were interested in seeing and tailored the tour to what we were interested in. He even helped plan the rest of our time in Maine! We also LOVED the lunch spot for the Lobster Lunch. It was a wonderful experience for all of us

Bill, our tour guide who is a native of the area, was very knowledgeable, gave us alot of history and some humorous stories, took us to all the best spots for views which there are so many, a great place for lunch, etc. He did a great job! Snacks and drinks was a little lacking for the price thus the 4 stars.

Thanks for the review! I am glad you liked the tour. The iced water and snacks are really meant as a courtesy and not a meal. I am asking Viator to take it out of our description and will just let people be surprised that it is available on the tours. There is only so much you can offer with bagged snacks in a minivan.
