Our hotel, the Ritz Carlton, booked us on this trip because they get a fat commission from Northshore Zipline. We found this out after a disaster. The hotel told us to leave with about an hour to spare -- it took us well over two hours. We were on the phone with a Northshore employee the whole time, telling us we would get there on time based on where we were. Then when we got there, they said we had missed it by 15 minutes and they would not take us out. The owner said "oh you were talking to an employee who didn't know what she was talking about, she should have told you not to come." Their solution was not to get our family out on the course, but to offer us a makeup session a few days later, when we were already booked to leave Maui. So we ended up burning an entire day of our vacation. We went to

We are very sorry to hear that you missed your tour, and wish we had been able to accommodate you. According to Map Quest, the drive time from the Ritz Carlton, to NorthShore Zipline Co, is one hour and ten minutes. Our tours do leave promptly on time, and it is not possible to join a tour already in progress. We do our best to reschedule people who arrive late, and usually are able to get them out on tour on the same day. This is difficult to do in December however, as it is a very busy month, and we normally sell out a week in advance. Hopefully you can return someday and actually take our highly rated tour. We would love to have you. Aloha.

The staff made this zipline so much fun. "The Dude" and "Dapper Dan" had so many jokes to keep everyone entertained. They blended the serious with fun and made the tour an absolute blast. The zipline itself was awesome! Especially the long one in the middle where you get some good speed. At just about every stopping point there was an really nice view of the area. I'm so glad we went and would highly recommend going!

My husband and i just had our first zipline experience and we did it with northshore zipline - after researching a few companies we chose them because we wanted a canopy experience and a good price - we got both and more. we booked direct which saved us 10% and we had the added win that no one else booked during our time slot so we had a private zipline tour with Dominic and Mika. Both guides were fabulous and entertaining, they had us laughing through every zip. Both shared interesting tidbits about the history of camp maui and provided great maui touring tips for us. they made sure we had a great time, spinning and guiding us through different poses at each zip.Dominic took tons of pics and videos for us on our phones - thanks Dominic! there were 7 zips , 2 were bunny slope / intro style and the rest were great with hanging bridges connecting a few. overall great experience. didnt feel super fast, there are other companies that provide a more "thrilling" experience. great views of the treetop and ocean
