We had a great time. The instructors were professional and fun. My teenagers loved it. I would highly recommend!!!

Overall we had a good time zip lining with Northshore Zipline Co. It was a bit of a drive from Kaanapali but we had expected it. We went on the 7 zipline tour and it took us about 2 hours. We went on the 4PM tour so it was not too hot. I wouldn't recommend going earlier because I think it might be really hot. There were a total of 11 zipliners and approx 3-4 instructors. Positives: 1) The instructors are super nice, lively and entertaining. They are focused on everyone having a great time. They are very enthusiastic and like to make jokes. They had us laughing a lot of the time. 2) The instructors are very focused on safety. They check to make sure the harnesses were on correctly and were constantly aware of everything that was going on. I felt very safe the entire time. 3) The equipment was solid and the lines and the structures seemed well kept up. 4) There was a photographer that took great pictures on the last two lines. Photo package is optional. 5) You don't have to walk far between each of the lines. Negatives: 1) The equipment was REALLY smelly. My kids were gagging and complaining when they had to put it on. Some of the helmets were wet (sweat from someone elses head?). We kind of forgot about the smell after a while but even after you take off the harnesses your clothes and hair still smelled. We had to take showers and change our clothes to get rid of the smell. This was probably the biggest negative. 2) The lines are fairly short. This might be better for someone new to zip lining but it's not so much fun for the experienced zipliner. 3) Although it was pretty and peaceful on the mountain, it wasn't like we had majestic views of Maui or the ocean. 4) We have had several other zip lining experiences and we were hoping for a more thrilling experience. The lines were too short for that and they didn't allow you to hang upside down (we were able to do this on other zip line tours). For this reason, I would recommend this tour to beginners and non adrenaline seekers! I think it is the perfect speed for first timers, young kids, the elderly and anyone else not seeking a rush! Just a note that the bathroom facilities are porta johns. We didn't go inside them so I can't comment on the cleanliness.

Camp Maui, was a great venue for a zipline. The guides are great, perfectly safe, friendly, and interesting people to go on a zipline adventure.
