70-Minute Guided Downtown Eureka Springs Walking Tour

Overview
The tour offers a chance to learn about the history of Downtown Eureka Springs - starting before the founding of the town, the people who have made history downtown, and the unique geography of three underground systems - caves and cliffs, the Mud Street rebuild, and the creek that runs under it all.

Walking through the entertainment and shopping district, you get a feel for life as it was, the art district it is now, and see the hidden treasures throughout. Told in stories and vignettes along the way, the tour is a treat for all ages.

You visit an intact underground storefront covered over in the making of the Underground. This is only open to visitors to our tour. This is not an adventure tour. The underground systems are explained, but only the underground storefront is visited.

We love it! You bring the questions, and our guides will do their very best to give answers! Your ticket supports the work of Main Street Eureka Springs - so thank you!

Ms Linda was an excellent guide. She knew her history and was clear with her presentation so you could understand. My disappointment is that it is truly not an underground tour. Only able to see one business that was an original and now "underground ". I strongly suggest that you rename this tour

This was our first time to Eureka Springs, so this tour really interested us! We enjoyed hearing the history of this town and the stories that go along with it! We loved being able to go underground and hearing about and seeing the former storefronts and walkways. Our tour guide, Megan, was great! She led us to many places around town, in addition to going underground. We also got to see several springs. Megan was so knowledgeable about the town. You could tell that she loves her town and loves sharing all about it! We would definitely recommend this tour!
