70-Minute Guided Downtown Eureka Springs Walking Tour

Overview
The tour offers a chance to learn about the history of Downtown Eureka Springs - starting before the founding of the town, the people who have made history downtown, and the unique geography of three underground systems - caves and cliffs, the Mud Street rebuild, and the creek that runs under it all.

Walking through the entertainment and shopping district, you get a feel for life as it was, the art district it is now, and see the hidden treasures throughout. Told in stories and vignettes along the way, the tour is a treat for all ages.

You visit an intact underground storefront covered over in the making of the Underground. This is only open to visitors to our tour. This is not an adventure tour. The underground systems are explained, but only the underground storefront is visited.

Dave, the tour guide--very knowledgeable, funny, articulate, lots of good stories. It rained in the middle of our tour, but Dave was still able to keep us together and reasonably dry.

Oh goodness, I wish we could control the weather, don't you! I'm glad that the guide was able to provide enough cover (he must have a VERY big umbrella or taught you to walk between raindrops) for the group. Thanks for spending your wet afternoon with THE Tour - we appreciate it! - Main Street Eureka Springs Your ticket provides funding for the local Main Street 501c3 nonprofit to continue to develop and preserve Downtown Eureka Springs.

Dave was a fantastic guide and funny. This was a great way to learn about the downtown area. Take a bottle of water and wear good walking shoes. Whatever guided tour you take remember to tip they work hard and are very knowledgeable even if it is a couple of bucks, be kind.
