This was the first of its kind trip for myself and my husband. The west and a hiking trip was calling but with demanding careers we both lacked the bandwidth to map out all the details on our own but knew we wanted to see as much as possible in roughly a week's time. I was so very impressed with the accommodations, the attention to detail throughout the tour, the comfort and consideration given, flexibility and desire to appeal to everyone and... the tour guide! Kirk was an ABSOLUTE GEM. He was more than any of us could have anticipated. I know we covered so much more ground and took in so much more (many 'hidden gems' and lesser known paths/landmarks) and had insider knowledge due to having a native UT resident lead the tour. We were blown away by the magnificent beauty and will marvel over the pictures and memories for a lifetime (although I know we will be back!). We highly recommend beyond the shadow of a doubt- Southwest Tours and Kirk and (Jason) were impeccable. Hugs closed the tour, discovery of new friendships and tear were shed. Probably the trip of a lifetime. The views phenomenal, the interaction with land via walking and hiking great, and the information, knowledge and personality of our tour guide, Kirk Douglas, beyond compare.

This was a fantastic trip. Kirk, our guide, was very knowledgeable and personable, and made sure everyone had an enjoyable time. Breakfast and lunch were included every day. There were lots of opportunities for hiking, but things to do if you didn’t want to hike. It’s so nice to leave the driving to someone else. Kirk knew the roads and even the backroad detours when that became necessary. I highly recommend this trip!!
