Six days of sunshine. September travel with smaller crowds and no traffic jams . Temperature ranged from 32 to 89 degrees. Kirk, our guide, was knowledgeable, easy travler, knew when to get our small group to the right locations before the crowds. Fellow travel campanions were easy going and fun to be with. Shared many life stories and laughts. We moved at a good pace and had time in the evenings to re-charge our batteries at very nice accomodations. Plenty of photo moments. If you opt to walk in the Narrows at Zion National Park, wear water shoes and prepare to have very, very cold feet.

Our tour through the five national parks in Utah was wonderful and our tour guide, Ann Evans, was excellent. She knew all of the "must see" places and included a few extra stops most tourists would miss. Our side trip to Goblin State Park to see the Hoodoos was fantastic. Also, she related historical and special side stories about each National Park. The schedule was well-planned and a very enjoyable experience. The rooms were close and comfortable and the meal stops were excellent. Overall, an extremely enjoyable trip.

Wonderful trip with a total of 9 guests, plus our knowledgeable, caring and conscientious guide Anne, she made sure that we were hydrated at all times. The weather was hot, which I expected, so it is a tough time for hiking but often the hikes were early enough in the day so they were tolerable. The trip follows the advertised itinerary pretty closely with a few visits to State Parks that we’re a bonus. The scenery is magnificent and I highly recommend Southwest Adventure Tours...on time hotel pick up and drop off, comfortable van, great hotels and variety of restaurants for provided meals.
