Zach picked us up at the Hotel on time in a very clean, tricked out Jeep Gladiator. There was only 2 of us in our group, they only take one group at a time regardless of the size. He was born and raised on the Island and had so much knowledge of the land, agriculture and people. He knew the best spots off the tourist path, such as the WWll bunker off the coast. My son was super excited to be able to go inside and see what it was like. All the other tourists were at the lookout spot, we got to experience a piece of history! We saw turtles and even an endangered Monk Seal. He asked us about our interests and made stops according to what would appeal to us, even taking us to try the Portuguese donuts after we mentioned we had been to Portugal. He took the time to explain things and encouraged questions. He even circled back when we passed something that caught our attention saying this tour is about us and what we want to see. We went to a favorite food truck place for lunch and we had to try the taro fries. Delicious! Zach didn’t make us feel like tourists. As my teenage son said, “It felt more like our friend from the Island picked us up to show us around!” We did circle the island as I was able to mark off sights on a map and saw everything we wanted aa well as some hidden gems off the tourist path. He ended the tour by taking us for shave ice. Perfect way to end a great day!

This was the highlight of our trip! Zach was so knowledgeable and well spoken. We truly enjoyed his history! He knew terrific food spots, and well as great places to really see the beauty of Oahu. Highly recommend!

Wayde was a awesome! Showed us beautiful beaches, landscape and local surfing spots. Highly recommend. This is our second trip to Oahu. In one day we saw and learned more than we did on both trips combined.
