*Disappointing Trolley Tour Experience* My husband and I recently took the trolley tour a week ago expecting a fun and relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the driver's behavior ruined our outing. It was so bad that I noted the name of the driver, Joseph Demers, driving the bus #113 Unfortunately, the driver's behavior and communication style ruined our tour. From the start, the driver spoke excessively loud, with a high-pitched voice that made it difficult to understand him. His yelling at a couple behind us for talking was unacceptable and created tension. To make matters worse, he abruptly silenced three 60 some years old ladies sitting in the front row just five minutes later. In addition He was loudly shouting and promoting his cousin’s souvenirs shop This inconsistent and disrespectful treatment left a bad taste. I was so disappointed that I got off the bus early. Visitors deserve a pleasant experience, not stress and discomfort.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our driver guides work hard to create an enjoyable environment for all guests, ensuring everyone can fully appreciate the tour commentary and make the most of their experience. After reviewing the situation, we found that Joey, one of our highly-rated guides, faced repeated disruptions from a couple of passengers during your tour. Despite his best efforts to manage the situation and maintain the tour's quality for everyone, these interruptions were unfortunately persistent. Joey is a passionate Bostonian with an excellent track record for customer satisfaction, and we regret that your experience didn’t reflect that. We would love to offer you a better experience in the future. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at ([email protected]) when you're next in Boston, and I'll be happy to arrange complimentary tickets for you. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more enjoyable tour next time. Sincerely, Mike T

I decided to take my friends on the 80 minutes trolley tour in order to have a great time and get to know Boston. What I thought would be a great experience was a great disappointment. The trolley operator Joseph Demers was extremely rude from the get go. Five minutes from the beginning he started telling some ladies seated in the back of the trolley to keep quiet because other people wanted to hear his tour explanation. Later one of my friends pointed a site we wanted to see and we cheat chated for a second when this man jumped at us and told us to shut up and that out conversation was ridiculous loud… I couldn’t believe my ears, I was so embarrassed and he kept going and going with his loud horribly pitched voice humiliating us. He even said “I know you probably don’t understand what I am saying but you need to be quiet”… WHAT?? Maybe because we are three women in their 60’s two Hispanic and one Asian he thought we are stupid at profiling us which felt discriminatory behavior. We were so upset that we just made it to the 7th or 8th stop and got off without finishing the tour, wasting almost a $100 for nothing. Other passengers were visibly upset with this man that seems he had forgotten we are on vacation trying to have a good time not been reprimanded by this uneducated man. He was in another hand screaming at his “cousin” ( a street vendor ) he was advertising for us to buy souvenirs. Terrible experience for someone that has travelled over 35 counties very disappointing.

Hi Elizabeth, I’m sorry to hear about your guide’s comments. We take this seriously and will investigate the situation. I can assure you that this is not typical of Joe, who has consistently received 5-star reviews and positive feedback. In the meantime, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. I’d be happy to arrange complimentary tickets for another tour while you’re in town or issue a refund. Sincerely, Mike T
