The taxi driver took us to the wrong place and therefore we missed the tour. Called City Tales and they said that i would have to pay, again. Also, Groupon voucher is the same price as buying them from City Tales, you do not get a discount.

Hi Jaqcuie and thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry you had a bad experience with your taxi ride which caused you to miss the tour on August 31st. I would like to assure you that I have taken great care to make sure that our customers receive great value for their money and that they are always treated fairly. All of our policies, including those regarding accommodating late arrivals and re-booking are as flexible as possible and exceed the practices of many of our competitors. This begins with providing the support and assistance our guests may need to locate the guide and participate in the tour as scheduled. Our local phone number is listed on the voucher and our phones are open and fully staffed to provide that assistance for customers in real time if they are lost or have any questions. Sometimes guests don't call in advance. So whenever any guest has not arrived, our tour coordinator remains at the meeting location for a period after the tour begins to help those guests join the tour in progress. Our tour coordinator followed this practice on August 31st. It was not until I received your call on the morning of September 1st that I had any knowledge of why you had missed the tour the day before. At that time I did inform you that there would be a re-booking fee, which is a fraction of the original purchase price, for your group of 5 to join another tour. The re-booking fee is in place because I limit the number of guests in each group to 20 per guide to guarantee the best customer experience. So in that way we aren't like a museum or other attraction with unlimited space that can just amend the reservation to another day or time. I'm sorry if you didn't feel our policy was flexible enough in your situation but I hope this explanation helps. I value your business so if you should visit New York again I would be glad to honor this reservation at the re-booking rate, based on availability, at anytime in the future. If you have no plans to visit again you can transfer the offer to a friend or family member. Just call or email me and I'll be glad to arrange it. Sincerely.

A moving tribute to those who senselessly lost their lives all those years ago. One can still feel the fear and terror of the moment. Made me incredibly sad but glad to have paid my respects to those that died in this tragedy. I was so glad that this beautiful memorial was erected in remembrance of everyone, and that we can visit and give just a little back to them all.

Fantastic walking tour. I loved the perfect pace, chance to look around and ask questions. Even a potty break in the middle of 2 hour tour. Dereck was a wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide! We took time to walk around thoroughly in St. Pauls church (where we all met) which I would recommend. We got so much information out of this tour - everyone should go!
