90-Minute Dolphin Watch Tour of South Padre Island

Overview
Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! The guy at the counter that redeemed my on-line ticket for a physical ticket to board the tour was very friendly and helpful. The captain is a racist. I was the only person of my race aboard. It was an obvious exclusion with conversation and the questions he asked others and not me before boarding. We saw many pods of dolphin, that part was great. The wind was very high so, we got a real rough, uncomfortable, wet ride on this afternoon tour. The attraction is excellent, the captain is a "0" corney jokes and all.

We were not expecting too much since it was very low cost. However, this was the best $10 we spent on our whole holiday.

We booked the eco-tour and dolphin watch with Isla Tours. It was fun to see what they dragged up from the bottom of the Laguna Madre. We saw a pod of dolphins and the captain stayed for a long time so we could watch them play right next to the boat. Was a grand way to spend the morning. The grandkids loved the boat ride. The captain also gave us a little history of the area. Great trip!! Thanks Guys!!
