90 Minute Hilton Head Dolphin Tour

Overview

Come explore the low country on a 90 minute dolphin tour with Island Head. We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. We explore the beautiful water way of Broad Creek a rich eco system of wildlife including the famous bottle nose dolphin, a variety of birds, and so much more. We will also explore the Calibogue Sound where we will see from the water the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse, Daufuskie Island, Buck Island, Bull Island, and see Hilton Head Island from the water. Depending on the time of day and tides the captain will take the boat to the best spot off of these locations to increase our chances to find some wildlife.

Enjoy a smooth ride aboard our comfortable custom tour boat. There are many different routes for our USCG captain to choose from based on the conditions. This is a great was to get up close with nature in the low country.

What To Expect

Harbour Town Lighthouse and Museum

We pass by the famous Harbour Town lighthouse. Take in the sights of Harbour Town from the Calibogue Sound.

Daufuskie Island

We will see Daufuskie Island during the dolphin cruise if the conditions are right. There are some popular waterways near Daufuskie Island where dolphins frequently visit.

Hilton Head

We depart from Broad Creek Marina in the center of Hilton Head Island. Broad Creek is a hot spot for dolphin activity on Hilton Head.

Our tour guide knew exactly where the dolphins were. She took to us to Dolphin Cove and explained the sights along the way. she was very knowledgeable about the island.

I had been expecting more based on the reviews. This was probably an isolated incident because the Tour guide had recently had oral surgery. She didn’t really talk much. I would’ve loved to have learned more about the history of the island, the ecosystem, even the architecture. I feel like I had to ask questions to really get anything out of her. We saw a couple dolphins and birds. I honestly would have wanted more for my money.

We went here as an activity for my sisters bachelorette trip and it was amazing! The tour guide was so much fun, we got to see baby dolphin, and sprayed by water:)
