9am Turtle Canyon Snorkel Adventure

Overview

What better way to start your day than to slip into the refreshing waters of Turtle Canyon and swim with amazing green sea turtles, beautiful tropical fish, and other incredible marine life? Our snorkel guides help you feel confident, safe and at ease as you dive in and explore the beauty just below the surface. Our guides specialize in showing you not only turtles, but also hidden creatures such as a tako (octopus), vana (sea urchin), and so much more! We provide snorkels, masks, fins and snorkel vests to get you out there exploring all the remarkable sea life below!

After we've finished snorkeling, we'll hoist the sails and set out around Diamond Head on the search for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, and in the winter months, we'll be on the lookout for Humpback Whales making their yearly migration. Stretch out on the nets, relax and enjoy complimentary snacks as we cruise along some of the most beautiful scenery on the island!

We had a fantastic time on the morning snorkel! We saw multiple turtles, an eel, fish, and dolphins during the sail. Chris was super knowledgeable about the sea life we were seeing, and the two crew guys (sorry I can’t remember their names!) we’re funny, helpful, and made for a great day on the water. It was my first time snorkeling and because of this awesome company, I will definitely be back! Thanks again!

My main issue is with the staff managing the preboarding, two young women that didn't care at all, were unfriendly and rude at time, treating the group like cattle. The crew on the other hand was very nice and attentive.

Highlight of our trip. If sea seeing sea turtles is your aim, this is your tour. I somehow missed that this was snorkeling and sailing, which was an added bonus. We decided not to rent a car while in Honolulu and this was a great option because of that. Tips: Take all the seasickness medicine. I took one instead of two dramamine not knowing we were going beyond bay waters and paid the price (worth it). Drink lots of water and eat snacks. The snorkeling is so freaking fun you don't realize it can take a lot out of you. Buy some Holokai hooch (wish I had it early on to curb the sea sickness, but lesson learned). It's their most "efficient" drink—a term I will now be taking to every bar I visit—at $10 with $3 refills. Only constructive feedback I have is that a couple of the crew members are clearly jaded. No lack of helpfulness whatsoever but clearly over the "awe" of the experience based on a couple quips that were not said in private. Sure you do this every day, but we don't, relish in the joy of others you lucky people!
