A Day In The Old West Adventure including Horseback Ride and Cowboy Lunch

Overview

Go on a horseback riding adventure with some real cowboys!! You'll go back in time to the 1800s on this trail ride that takes you into incredible hills and cactus filled deserts. Then have an amazing time with the western activities....learn how to shoot an arrow.... throw an axe... and try your hand at roping a steel calf. It's all in a day's work on the ranch! The lunch includes a hamburger, hot dog or grilled chicken, beans, corn on the cob, chips, dessert and unlimited soft drinks.

NOTE: There are two outfitter locations mentioned in the listing. We go to ONE of those, depending on availability and season.

Dress code is smart casual. Recommend closed shoes and hats. Long pants are a good idea but not required.

Not recommended for participants with back problems.
A small amount of walking is involved.
All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking. 240 pound weight limit.

We absolutely loved our Day in the Old West. Rusty took us out for a morning ride. He was extremely knowledgeable of the desert and life in Arizona. Very entertaining with the Wild West games. We would highly recommend a trip there. Great for families too.

Our group did a horseback ride, cowboy town activities, lunch and trap shooting. We had a blast! Everyone was very accommodating and really looked after our every needs, to make sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves. the scenery in the desert mountains is beautiful, the horses were well-behaved, and our wrangler, Aaron was very good. Lunch outdoors was simple, but good. We threw axes, horseshoes, and ropes. We shot bow and arrow, and revolvers in the shooting gallery. We even shot some clay birds on the trap range. A truly western experience that we all very much enjoyed. We're going to do it again soon.

The horseback ride was great. The ride to the dude ranch was enjoyable also. Learned a lot about the area. Highly recommended.
