This was our first trip to Alexandria, Virginia and we would definitely take this tour again. As a veteran and a local, Tim is very knowledgeable in early American history. Because Alexandria is steeped in history this is the perfect setting for Tim’s vast knowledge. It’s obvious he has done his research and told us many fascinating stories about George Washington and Jefferson, and their lives in Alexandria. I loved the history and my wife loved the charming vibe of the city. He took us by so many beautiful homes and buildings pointing out things we would have never seen if we took a self guided tour. He even recommended great restaurants for dinner. This tour is a must do.
