Marcia was an incredible guide! Her knowledge of Portland, Maine, lobsters, and history is outstanding! Her delivery of the information is well executed too! We had so much fun learning from Marcia on this tour! She walked at a decent pace and made sure to stop to speak so everyone could hear her! I loved our little snack stop too where we enjoyed a special treat! Our tour went a little over time but Marcia made sure to tell us everything she had planned to share! We were so thankful we signed up for this tour because it gave us 10+ more ideas for what we could do in Portland. Marcia made all of the difference though - She is an amazing individual and without her, I doubt this tour would have been the same!

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My only complaint was that this tour was described as COVID safe. In the description it stated that we needed to show proof of vaccination and Unvaccinated people would be required to wear a mask. The guide never addressed the situation and we were with 20 people we did not know and felt uncomfortable.

We are complying with all state requirements for covid safety. It looks like the language on the Viator site where you purchased your tickets needed to be updated and we have corrected this. History tours are operating outdoors in Portland and the state does not require masks at this time when outside. I have to correct your tour # as well as our tours sell out at 14 guests and we only occasionally allow up to 15. We certainly donā€™t want anyone to feel uncomfortable. Any guest who wishes to be refunded due to covid concerns is always welcome to contact us.
