We thoroughly enjoyed the Historical Walking Tour with our guide Ross. The pace was perfect, there was so much to see and hear about and we were so impressed with Ross' knowledge and love of the city. Walking a city gives you a totally different perspective and appreciation...we fell in love with Portland, Maine.

This tour is not a relatively easy walking tour of the harbor front and main parts of the city. You don't get taken into places but walk around them and listen to history. The history is in fact interesting. After visiting the museum, what else you got to do?

What an amazing tour! Our guide, Ross, was fantastic!! He was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable when it came to Portlandā€™s history. He was enjoying it so much he spent an extra 30! Minutes with our group! At the end Ross treated everyone to a delicious cookie from a French bakery at the end point of our tour. I would highly recommend this tour-excellent!!!!

Hi Mary Ann! We are feeling pretty luck to have had Ross to referred to us this season by one of our other all-star guides and happy to hear you enjoyed your tour so much with him. The history tours are still a relatively new offering for us and the guides are really lovin' flexing their knowledge in an expanded way from foodie touring. We appreciate your recommendation and will shoot this right over to Ross to share too!
