What To Expect
1
Portland Head Light
One of Maine's most iconic landmarks, the Portland Head Lighthouse rests at the edge of Cape Elizabeth's rocky shoreline in Fort Williams Park. Walking trails along the coastline are lined with goldenrod and blueberry bushes; they lead directly to the lighthouse's entrance at the tip of the cove.
2
Cadillac Mountain
See where the sun first hits the United States every morning. Fantastic vistas of Acadia National Park and surrounding area!
3
Thunder Hole
Thunder Hole is the place in Acadia National Park to experience the thunder of the sea against the rocky shores of Maine! On calm days you may wonder what the fuss is all about. But wait until the waves kick up a few notches. Thunder Hole is a small inlet, naturally carved out of the rocks, where the waves roll into. At the end of this inlet, down low, is a small cavern where, when the rush of the wave arrives, air and water is forced out like a clap of distant thunder. Water may spout as high as 40 feet with a thunderous roar! Hence the name: Thunder Hole.
4
Jordan Pond
This vantage point has some of the best views in all of Acadia.
5
Bar Harbor
Guest will receive an hour to explore this quaint Maine seaside and grab lunch.
6
Camden Hills State Park
The town of Camden is the self-described Jewel of the Maine coast. Located mid-coast Maine, Camden is a haven for ocean lovers, shoppers and outdoor adventurers. A trip to Camden Hills State Park will give visitors the opportunity to view a gorgeous Penobscot Bay from the top of Mt. Battie. Camden Hill State Park encompasses 5,700 acres.

8
Fort Edgecomb State Historical Site
Fort Edgecomb, built in 1808–1809, is a two-story octagonal wooden blockhouse with restored fortifications located on Davis Island in the town of Edgecomb, Lincoln County, Maine, United States. It is the centerpiece of the Fort Edgecomb State Historic Site

My wife and I had a great day on this private tour. No cramp conditions with strangers. No set timetables or being rushed. Private is the way to go! Our guide Mimi was very accommodating, informative, and conversational. Highly recommend this tour.

Miriam was the best! She took us to the best places with gorgeous views. She knew a lot about the area and it’s history. Lunch and shopping in Bar Harbor was a great midday break. Can’t say enough good things about our tour or our guide. Such a fun day!
