A horrible experience that ruined our day. They gave us no notification that the luau was cancelled (cancelled due to light rain that had stopped before the luau was supposed to start and we drove 2 hours to get here). Do not go for this experience. The management is terrible.

Aloha, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so very sorry that you were not able to attend the luau and that it was cancelled due to the rain. We did inform all companies and our guests that the event was cancelled and we are very sorry that you were not notified. Should you return, please let us know and we can ensure that there is no miscommunication and that you are well cared for. Mahalo, Zareena

So there were parts of us that though this would be corny/cheesy; however, it was not at all. The music was good to start the night and the show was very enjoyable ā€” especially the fire show. The food was also very good with the pig being roasted on site during the day and being able to see the pit. Drinks (included with the package) were also flowing at our table. Our entire group enjoyed the show.

I was very disappointed in this luau. We have been to a luau in Maui and this does not compare, especially considering how much we paid. The entertainers did a good job and the food was good but overall it wasn't worth the $230+ we paid for it. The waiter was kind of rude, the bartender was rude, no leis (only a seashell necklace), no hula lessons, etc. We visited Oahu and The Big Island and didn't get a lei from anyone. When we went to Oahu and Maui in 2013 we were greeted with leis, and wonderful hospitality from everyone. This time 90% of the people we encountered were very ungrateful. Trust me, we tried to be nice and make conversation with them too.
