First of all, very limited parking. You canā€™t park at the Royal Kona unless youā€™re a guest. Then, youā€™re crammed into a crowded area where all you can really do is sit. Thereā€™s nothing to do or see anyway. Drinks were abundant, but weak and sloppily prepared. No imu ceremony that I ever saw, nor a lei workshop. Food was mediocre - the meats were pretty tasty though. Show was good introduction to Hawaiian and Polynesian culture. Everyone ought to do a luau at least once in Hawaii, but Iā€™d find a better one than this!

It is NOT worth the money. I wouldnā€™t even pay $40 for this. The food was mediocre, you canā€™t see the stage unless youā€™re in VIP and the ā€œtwo free mai taiā€™sā€ come in an airplane size water cup.
