What To Expect

Arkansas River Tours

You will arrive are out Canon City location, check in with our friendly reservation staff, meet your guide for the day, be outfitted with necessary rafting gear, go through an in depth safety orientation and then hop on a van or bus for a short 5-10 min ride to the river put in

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Once you arrive at the river you will be given specific instructions by your guide and then hit the river for an amazing adventure. You will float through the world famous Royal Gorge! Amazing views of the Royal Gorge Bridge and amazing whitewater on this trip. This is the premiere trip on the Arkansas River!

Worth every penny!!!! Me and my family loved it and we even tried to see if we had enough time to go again. We had Kyle and Hanna as our guides on the two boats. Both were great to hang out with for the day. Even going as far as jumping off the rocks with us and telling tons of good jokes. if you are looking on going on a great tour look no more..THIS TRIP WAS AWSOME...Thank you so much to all the folks at A.R.T.

That day was totally EPIC. We had a blast rippin rapids with da boyyys. Our guide KYLE smoothly went over paddle call-outs/instructions during intro. Totally laid back, cool, and knowledgable throughout the entire experience. Dude kept his cool even when we rotisserie'd during the s-move/turn. Energy was high the entire time and just had a blast. He also tossed in some cool tour-guide facts about the river. Definitely will be coming back!

We had a GREAT time during our half day trip down the Arkansas River! Even though it was late August and the water level was lower, our guide Maggie saw to it that we had an exciting adventure floating over several white water rapids. We never got stuck (as did one raft in our group), and even managed to reach our destination first. The on-line registration saved lots of time when we got there. We highly recommend Arkansas River Tours, and be sure to ask for Maggie - she's da bomb!!! Gail & Bud.
