Our trip was recommended by the concierge at the Phoenician Shannon B and she was great at going thru the different options. Not knowing if my son (13) or myself would make it back here, I wanted to really do it right. West wind took such good care of us! Val confirmed all of our details and welcomed us like royalty. John our pilot and tour guide took the time to engage us in conversation, point out things not to be missed and gladly took pictures of the majestic landscape behind us. The helicopter ride to the bottom was a totally new experience and we lived our boat guideā€™s history lesson while in the river. We were thrilled by every portion of the tourā€”Don our driver was great too. Thank you WestWind and everyone involved for a day we will NEVER forget!

We spent the day with Brandon our pilot who was amazing. He knew just when to keep the conversation going with interesting facts about the landscape and knew when we just wanted to take in the beauty of the canyon during our flights. The team at Westwind Air was spectacular and treated us like family from the moment we walked through the door. I highly recommend Westwind and Brandon.

My husband and had been to the Grand Canyon once before, but sadly it was not to be it was the heaviest snow storm in years we saw absolutely nothing. This year we were blessed with another opportunity, and the Canyon we thought was going to be unseeable due to heavy rain and mist. But low and behold the heavens opened up and we were blessed with an amazing sighting of the canyon. So worth the wait. An amazing spectacle when one realized that the Grand Canyon is 17 million years old.
