Adventure Tour - Grand Canyon West Rim with Skywalk (ADV)

Overview

Travel by airplane directly to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon for a 10 minute helicopter ride to a plateau near the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

The next stop is the world famous Skywalk. This architectural marvel extends 65 feet over the edge of the Canyon, with its 4,000 foot depth right beneath your feet.

Just outside the Skywalk you will experience the Hualapai Indian Culture through Native American Performances (occasional) and an Indian Village with ancient dwellings constructed in the traditional methods by local tribes. This area of the Canyon, known as Eagle Point.

The next stop on the tour will be Guano Point. This location offers one of the most scenic places to enjoy lunch (provided with the tour) at an outdoor eating area on a plateau surrounded on three sides by the magnificent Grand Canyon. After your lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk along a trail that extends out into the Canyon and enjoy the spectacular views and photo opportunities

John C made our 30th feel as special as the magnificent wonder of the world we were going to visit Obviously a great pilot, it’s the softer skills of charm, humor and simply caring that made us feel compelled to right this review If we came back we would insist on having John but the highest praise I can give is that if one of our daughters brought him home we would welcome into our home Thanks to John , Gail and team

Only realised two days before that it was possible to get to the Canyon from Phoenix in a day. This is where their flexible schedules really work well. We had a fantastic day. Got very lucky with weather and lack of crowds. It is all very well organised logistically. Yes, you are a little processed through the experiences - but that is the best way to get to experience and see so much in such a short space of time. Bryan our pilot and host is relatively new: but we felt hyper safe in his care and he navigated is through the stages of the trip like an old pro. I am sure he will build his banter as his experience grows. Overall we are absolutely delighted with the day. Thank you.

Highly recommend this day trip to the Grand Canyon. What a way to first see the Canyon - from the plane! The helicopter ride alone is worth the trip. The ride down and back on the Colorado River and the Skywalk - just icing on the cake!
