Operation City Quest is a digital scavenger hunt played using an app on your phone. The game is played all outdoors in public spaces, and you are not required to come into contact with anyone except your own team. Makes for the perfect social distancing activity!

As this scavenger hunt was listed for Buffalo I expected it to be specific to Buffalo. I've never been here before so thought this game would be a fun way to learn about the city. However all the items to find are generic to any town City or street, find a bike, a flag, a mailbox, nothing about the town you're in. I was expecting to be given a little information/history about a place while trying to find, for example, the statue of George Washington, or a plaque with the date the building was built. I could have done this hunt anywhere. They give you a departure point in the center of the city, further suggesting that it is specific to this town. If you are looking for a way to entertain friends this would be fun, but if you're wanting it to be a fun guide to the city you're in, this is not the thing.

Hello, thank you for your review.That is correct, we are not a city specific game. As stated on our website, you can play in any city, big or small. The starting location is a suggested starting location for those from out of town and not sure where to start. We are strictly a fun scavenger hunt for those who just want a fun activity and not a historical tour. Thank you again for your review, apologies it was not what you expected.
