Tour guide Drew was excellent and very well informed. Learned a lot. Driver was great. On/off tour was very convenient and bus was always nearby. Only drawback: we had timed entry tickets to AfAm museum. We were supposed to get entry at 1:30. At 2:30,we still had not advanced in the very very long line. We gave up since we no longer believed the “just 5 more minutes “ promise museum staff had been promising for the last hour. If we had the chance to use a restroom we could’ve waited in line longer. So if you’re booking this tour expecting quick access to the museum, be prepared to wait- timed entry was not realistic. This is not the tour’s fault, but had we known that timed entry at 1:30 meant they we’ll start waiting in a very long line at 1:30, we could’ve prepared better. The last few stops on the tour had no bathrooms so plan accordingly and pack food/drinks.

Christine_C, thanks for selecting our tour, and for taking the time to share feedback about your experience! We apologize that the popularity of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture causes even the timed-entry pass line to experience delayed entry at times.

Our host was awesome. He had great knowledge of African-American and DC history. We had one hiccup with a stop but he made sure we returned later to get the full experience.
