Afternoon Marine Adventure

Overview

Take an afternoon sail with us to search for the magnificent kohola (whales). Every year these giants of the ocean travel over 3000 miles to warm Hawaiian waters where they breed, give birth and nurse their calves. Our tours include complimentary snacks, all non-alcoholic beverages and one (1) complimentary cocktail per person (age 21 and over). Great views, beautiful marine life and the nicest sailing catamaran on the Kona coast – a great way to spend an afternoon!

Guests may purchase additional beer, wine and cocktails from our full bar.

We live in Kona part time and can spot whales in season from land so we didn’t consider taking the tour until we met Travis by the Kona Style cat at the pier. He is a native and has a love for the island and the sea that is so infectious we decided to try the tour. We were wowed! It was all Travis promised and more. We saw several humpbacks with their calves and spinner dolphins too! The crew was the best with information, spotting whales, positioning the cat, everything. It was a wonderful trip we would highly and enthusiastically recommend.

This was an awesome trip. Captain Jesse, Demi the deck boss and Chadin kept us entertained and provided us prime whale watching. Momma and baby whale were very accommodating. Several spouts and fin flapping followed by a few breeches. The other tour boats seemed overcrowded while our smaller boat gave us plenty of room to take pictures and video. Thanks again guys!
