Itinerary Fairbanks - Aurora-Viewing Lodge - Fairbanks In the evening, to escape the urban light pollution, take the Aurora Shuttle to our carefully selected Aurora-Viewing Lodge, in an excellent location that will increase your chances of observing the Northern Lights. Our professional guides will introduce you to the Northern Lights and instruct you in camera parameter set-up and aurora borealis shooting techniques to help you take stunning aurora photos. Free hot drinks, coffee and a Northern Lights monitoring screen are available in the cabin, where you can warm up after watching the aurora. You will return to your hotel to rest at around 2 am the next morning.

This was a fantastic, small group excursion. The location was great to be able to see the northern lights and then go inside the lodge and warm up with hot chocolate or coffee. The lodge isn’t fancy but it was warm and had bathrooms available. Our guide Cody was terrific. He helped show us how to set up our phones to take photos. He was always on watch for the changing northern lights. He even took time lapse videos he shared with us and pictures of us with the northern lights as background. This tour exceeded our expectations and hopes. It was a really special night.
