Let Your Tour Guide to the Wild Side take you on an entrancing excursion to the Alaska Botanical Garden followed by a scenic drive to the Glen Alps Overlook for the most incredible views of the city.
Experience the Garden with a tour led by Brie, an expert with over 10 years of experience in the garden. You’ll spend approximately an hour strolling through a Boreal Forest while learning about many of the 1,100 varieties of flowers & hardy plants that grow in our region, as well as the history that made the garden what it is today. After the Botanical Garden we will take a short, scenic drive to the Glen Alps Overlook in Chugach State Park. Here you’ll have about 45 minutes to explore and take in stunning vistas as your guide points out landmarks across the area as only scene from over 2,000 feet above the city.
Keep in mind that this tour is held in outdoor locations and Alaska is an unpredictable enchantress and weather can shift unexpectedly. Please come prepared.
