Alaska Helicopter Tour with Glacier Landing - 60 mins - ANCHORAGE AREA

Overview
Taking off from the Alaska Glacier Lodge in the Mat-Su Valley to the Knik Glacier (5 miles wide by 29 miles long!). We land right in the middle of the Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes on ice thousands of years old with your pilot/guide. We provide ice spikes for you to safely hike on the ice Take pictures of the blue lakes on top of the glacier, crevasses and ice ‘sculptures’ made by wind, sunshine & time. (Summer)
TRANSFERS FROM ANCHORAGE If you do not have a rental car we can provide transfer service from Anchorage to our location (45 mins North of Anchorage ) for an added fee for select tour times. Call us direct to schedule!
WINTER TOURS please note that this tour in some winter months may not land directly on top of the glacier due to snow cover and safety issues, landing may be on the side next to incredible deep blue ice formations (an equally spectacular experience)

It was just incredible!!! Me and my wife had a great experience since the beginning. We called the reservations department and Brie was just extremely helpful, patient and thoughtful, she explained everything and even gave us tips of things to do at Alaska. We booked through the website, which is also very easy and efficient. Then, the tour! They have a very good structure on a beautiful place, made us feel safe. The helicopter was very comfortable and the views spectacular! Josh (I think it is his name) was our pilot and he was nothing short than amazing! He knew every place on that glaciar, made us feel safe and took us to many incredible sights. We went to a river on the glaciar, we saw blue caves, animals, and to top that, he took hundreds of pictures for us. One of the best experience of our lives!!! A must do!!!

Shane was an awesome guide! His light humor was smoother than his take off and landing. We were able to see dall sheep, moose and black bear from the helicopter. Shane took us all around the glacier and we got to see a river on top of the glacier falling down to the bottom. Highly recommend this tour.

Some of us are actually scared of heights but our pilot was so good, we didn't feel like we were flying 100-150 ft above the ground. The glacier view from the top is awesome. Our guide landed us near a pond and we walked a few steps, spent some time and took some nice pictures. Overall it's a very good experience and I'd definitely do it again.
