A couple of the stops were pretty. The man who drove us was nice, but told us little about Ketchikan. Stop at the carving center was almost a complete waste of time. When we got there, the center was about to close for lunch. In all, I do feel like this tour was a waste of time and money.

Hello Karen, I’m very sorry you were disappointed. Unknown to me the carving shed was scheduled for a private tour with no prior notification. I have reported this to the supervisor. I thank you for your review.

The tour was amazing; Carrie and Dan explained the Haida and Tlingit cultures in full detail, and they spoke proudly about the history of their culture. The park/ trail was easy to walk around, everything was accessible, and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend! Thank you, Dan and Carrie!

Dan provided a lot of great information on the history and culture of the Tlingit and Haida peoples -- how the totem poles were constructed, their usage and meaning, as well as information on the native plants and how they are used. Totem Bight Park is a must see. Highly recommended.
