Enjoy two Classic Same Day San Francisco experiences in one day — a visit inside Alcatraz Island and an additional same day sightseeing Golden Gate Bridge Boat Cruise. Guests are assigned an Alcatraz boat and on the SAME DAY a Golden Gate Bridge sightseeing boat. Guests will be allotted enough time to experience both attractions.

Our tour is designed to be an easy package to experience two of the most popular attractions in one day. Relax as we pass along San Francisco’s breathtaking waterfront, passing under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz! Learn the history of San Francisco Bay with open-air viewpoints and observe local marine life such as sea lions and more. Audio narration is provided.

Guests will be assigned an Alcatraz time slot by us somewhere between 8:45am and 4pm. We will assign your time slots and guests do not pick their slot.

Golden Gate Bridge

Allow 1-1.5 hours for this additional boat experience. This boat will pass along San Francisco’s breathtaking waterfront, sailing under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz! Learn the history of San Francisco Bay in an open-air museum setting and observe local marine life such as sea lions, pelicans, whales and more.

The tour through Alcatraz was as expected and interesting. It is a steep walk up, but there is a tram for those with mobility issues. My disappointment came with the bay cruise. When I booked this, it said small group of 20 which is why we booked this particular tour. That was not the case, it was a huge boat with 200 or more people. Not at all how it was advertised. That was disappointing.

Nobody said this was a small group. Not one sentence promised you a small group. The boat holds 500 passengers at one time. It is best you reread the advertisement once again and try to find any one sentence that says "less than 20 people".

Both tours were great! although you have to really pay attention to what the paper says or else you can easily get confused. It is very confusing because usually they are guided by a person. And, in this case you have to figure everything out yourself. For example, they gave me the night better a time to attend the Alcatraz your at 12:30pm. I assumed that from Alcatraz I would get another ferry to the Golden Gate Bridge and I was wrong. So I didn’t get given a schedule for the bridge tour until I kept asking a bunch of questions. I then had to figure out what on my own how long I was going to take at the Alcatraz and go to a different booth/pier to select an available time for the bridge tour. Anyways very unorganized and confusing.

Be lucky you got tickets the night before as someone cancelled. You should be the last one to complain when you weren't going to be able to go without us. It has been sold out for 5 weeks and here the lady who got them luckily the night before has a bone to pick? Confusing? We make it so simple! We even dumb it down and say "Step one" "Step Two" and here we still have to explain. It was pretty well stated. Go to Alcatraz at the time we say. Then go to the other bay cruise as you wish.

Alcatraz as was booked out on website so booking this made it possible. Probably wouldn’t have done the Cruise to Golden Gate if I didn’t need Alcatraz tickets as it’s very similar to the ferry to Alcatraz except going under the bridge. But overall was very worth it and was simple to sort out.
