What To Expect

Alcatraz Island

Once you take the ferry over to Alcatraz Island and you are dropped off, you will make your way up to the main prison building, where you receive an audio headset, and the audio tour will guide you through the Alcatraz Prison. Once the audio tour is over, you can continue taking pictures and exploring the Island, or you can walk back down to the ferry landing and hop on the next ferry headed back to San Francisco. The Alcatraz tour typically takes 2-3 hours to enjoy.

Al was very attentive and very accommodating. When we couldn’t get to him he came to us. He checked in many times throughout our bike ride and Alcatraz tour to make sure everything was as expected, that we were enjoying ourselves, and said we could call him if we need any help, had questions or needed directions. The equipment was great and I was super happy to get a good quality bike that I could pedal for hours all over town, from bridge to bridge and more. Within minutes of arriving back home from my vacation Al called again to check in to make sure we were satisfied. Very impressed.

I’ve traveled and been on many tours, but this was by far the best. The guided tour was very educational and interesting. The vendor was the best also. He was kind and went out of his way to ensure me and my family had all the necessary information we needed, days in advanced.
