Combine inside Alcatraz with an assigned time same day visit to Muir Woods with Golden Gate Bridge. This one day excursion gets you three iconic attractions in a family style road trip! Enjoy a hybrid of light driver narration and informative fort history, Alcatraz Escapes, and learn how the bridge was built.

This tour includes:
Assigned By Us: Muir Wood Van departure time (70+ minute Excursion)
Assigned By Us: Alcatraz Island Admission Time Slot (2.5 hours)
Golden Gate Bridge Excursion stop (15 minutes)

We will assign your time in advance. Guests do not assume they are early or late or choose their departure time. We will assign a random time slot as early as 6:45am or as late as 5pm and times will be issued two days prior.

There are also options for guests to select our VIP Road Trip with Sausalito and Driver James or 645am Early Bird Premium for those who need to know their time. Guests who do not select premium options are assigned random discounted departure times by us.

What To Expect

Alcatraz Island

Same day Alcatraz Admission Inside Prison with audio tour included. Guests should allow 2.5 hours for this experience. Guests will be assigned to a time by our company and will not be changed. Guests are not required to take van tour if they wish only to experience Alcatraz portion.

Muir Woods National Monument

Guests will experience the tall trees in a 70 minute self guided walking experience. $15 admission is not included.

Golden Gate Bridge

Brief stop to see the bridge and take photos when weather permits. This activity may be a pass by if weather does not permit.

This was such a fun trip. Morning started getting picked up by James. He was very informative and shared some neat facts about the day and what to expect. Van was super comfortable. Did Muir Woods first, very crisp so dress accordingly. We each received a $10 voucher to have lunch at the bridge. Last part of the tour ended at Alcatraz. This was also a neat experience. I would recommend this tour to everyone, the price is right and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank James!!

This was a fantastic tour! My husband and I flew in from Louisiana with no idea of what to do. This tour took us to some great sights and amazing food! James was an awesome tour guide! Friendly, informative, and funny - very easy to talk to and made our tour comfortable! The woods are breathtaking! Not much sun shining through so dress warm if it’s cold out. We ate at a restaurant next to the bridge and enjoyed our brunch with beautiful views. Alcatraz was amazing!!! Make sure you get the headsets for the included audio as you tour!! Would definitely recommend and book again!!
