Ali'i VIP Whale Tour
Get the Royal treatment on our Ali'i VIP Whale Tour! We limit this tour to a maximum of 11 guests, so you have more opportunities to view the Humpback whales, and other sea life, in the most comfort possible. Our vessels are USCG rated to carry 26 guests, but this tour is all about you and your experience and is limited to 11 guests.

The Ali'i VIP Whale Tour is only offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Children must be at least four (4) years old.

Excellent experience. Great job navigating the rough waters so we didn’t get soaked on the day we went out and finding lots of whales that were fortunately very active that morning! Knowledgable and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best time on the Ali'i Whale Tour! The weather was pristine, and Brian our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We chose a more expensive tour to get a more private visit with the whales, and even though we had a boat engine malfunction, the captain was still able to take us out a short way, and watch a juvenile whale frolic for awhile. It was a great experience. Because the trip was shorter than expected, the company refunded us part of our payment which was very kind and considerate. I highly recommend this tour if you are going to Maui!

I always choose Blue Water in Lahaina when I want to see some North Pacific Humpback whales in the winter. They always have the best crew who are so knowledgeable and funny and kind. Brian and Justin were our crew yesterday and we loved hanging out with them. Brian may have the best whale-spotting-eyes on Maui and Justin always postioned the boat in a way for the best viewing. They were almost predictive of where the whales would breach and surface! It's always an adventure with Bluw Water and I really appreciate how they keep their guest number small so you have plenty of space on the boat to move around and get a front row seat for the action! It is WELL worth the little extra cost to experience "the coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life." That's a direct quote from one of the other passengers who was on the boat with us yesterday. We will always choose Blue Water over any other raft out here on Maui. Mahalo for the amazing memories!
