Ali'i VIP Whale Tour
Get the Royal treatment on our Ali'i VIP Whale Tour! We limit this tour to a maximum of 11 guests, so you have more opportunities to view the Humpback whales, and other sea life, in the most comfort possible. Our vessels are USCG rated to carry 26 guests, but this tour is all about you and your experience and is limited to 11 guests.

The Ali'i VIP Whale Tour is only offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Children must be at least four (4) years old.

Much as I would like to keep this as my own little secret Blue Water Maui IS the islands best whale watch for many reasons. The crew are friendly, knowledgeable, competent and safety conscious. The boat is clean and comfortable. They don’t overload with passengers. Launching from Mala ramp is great. No worries about parking or getting there hours before you board. We’ve ridden with them multiple times. Just the best.

We had a superb whale watching experience with Blue Water. The captain did a wonderful job guiding us to see some excellent and close-up whale behaviors, including being near enough to hear one trumpet, and another who did 15-20 tail slaps in succession. The two-person crew was fun and had great stories, and even handled the unexpected queasiness of one of our group very smoothly. If you are someone who wants their whale watching with a bit more adventure and don't mind the dynamics of a smaller boat, Blue Water is a great choice for your Maui whale watch.
