Our guide, Ray, was really passionate about giving us a great experience. He had a wealth of knowledge about New York, the buildings - not just those that burned, but also those in the area that were spared or served functional purposes during the aftermath - the culture, business and finance, and the emotions of the day. It was like listening to a college professor, writer, and an advocate for all the heroes, rolled into one person. We could visualize what the area looked like, the day of the tragedy, the history leading up to it, and the aftermath. Our guide had anecdotes and details for every item in the tour, from the Pools to the Oculus and the Survivors Tree. I discovered why I always still cry when I see a specific angle of the towers burning, and the emotions that stay with us. The museum gives you pause. You see some of the actual metal beams, twisted and burned, and it gives you pause. The observation tower is magnificent. And the creators use technology in a brilliant way to give the most profound experience.

The tour guide was great and informative. Just not really necessary to do. I would just buy passes to the museum and skip One World Observatory. I much prefer Top of the Rock or somewhere you can go outside like The Edge. Again, the tour guide Eric was great, just didnā€™t need to do it in the after thought.

So I have given 3 stars to viator on this particular package, the advertisement information is not as accurate it's not a 5 hour guided tour and "line skipping". BUT I'd love to give IBETH our tour guide 5 stars or more! She made our experience fun and was well informed! She was excellent! Just that most things were beyond her control of which Viator is to blame for misinformation on this particular package!
