What To Expect
1
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
This is such a beautiful site to see. Take a short walk to see this amazing canyon. The rock formations and the waterfalls from the Yellowstone river will surely give you some of the most scenic photos you’ll get on this trip. Here you can sit and enjoy the views. Maybe see the wildlife migrations areas. Or you can take a stroll around the canyon rim. This is a must-see!
2
Old Faithful
Old faithful is Yellowstone’s most popular attraction. Named by General Washburn this has been a geological wonder for all to see for hundreds of years. Although we may have all heard of it, knowing why this phenomenon happens is fascinating. Take a tour to hear the history of early settlers seeing Old Faithful for the first time and learn the science behind it.
3
Firehole Canyon Drive
This is one of my personal favorites. The Firehole Canyon has such beautiful sites. The Firehole river cuts its way through the volcanic rock in this amazing canyon. The canyon has several beautiful waterfalls such as the Firehole falls. The Firehole Canyon has one of Yellowstone’s only swimming areas in the park. Watch fly fisherman, dip your feet in the water, and enjoy the sights.
4
Hayden Valley
In Hayden Valley, you’ll have a great chance to see a variety of wildlife. This valley that was formed by glaciers receding is a picturesque sight. With the rivers flowing through it just calls to the wildlife to come to drink and find food. This area is a popular one for Yellowstone’s Trumpeter Swans, coyotes, the Wapiti Wolf pack, tons of bison, and occasionally some bears.
5
Lamar Valley
This beautiful area of Yellowstone National park is known wildlife stomping ground. Here you’ll have the chance to see elk, wolves, bison, moose, and more.
6
Roosevelt Arch
Go where the first tourists of Yellowstone were welcomed in at this famous arch.Theodore Roosevelt layer the first stone at this historic landmark in 1903.
7
Mammoth Hot Springs
Enjoy a scenic tour around the historic town of Mammoth. This location is full of history, beautiful scenery, and tons of wildlife including a resident elk herd hanging out on the lawns.

Old faithful, geysers Guide was a nice person but did not have knowledge necessary for this tour. We wanted information, history, etc a bout the park. We got superficial information sometimes read from notes that we could have gotten from the park brochure. This guide will be great witt try h more training.

Hi Bob, Thank you so much for your patience. This year was extremely difficult with the nation wide staffing shortages. It was horrible to try to accommodate the mass numbers of guests that we had with being short staffed. Most guests book their tours over the winter and we did not know that we were going to be short staffed.Typically we’d have about 35 employees and this year we only had 12.We had limited the number of tours for the 2022 season to get back to the highest level of service available.

We had never been to Yellowstone. Viator made sure we had an awesome experience. Our tour guide was Dave and he was so knowledgeable and attended to us with such great service. Our eyes saw what we can't express into words. We did get to see grizzlies, Buffalo, elk, deer, and even an eagle. Watched the Old Faithful do it thing and we couldn't have ask for a better tour.
