Aquinnah Cliffs

See the maestic Clay Cliffs and Gay Head Lighthouse. We spend time here for shopping, eating and sightseeing.

Martha's Vineyard Camp meeting Association (MVCMA)

Learn all about the Gingerbread Cottages in the Methodist Campgrounds, See the iron Tabernacle and some of its original seats from the 1800s, The Pink House and The home where President Grant gave a speech. Get a feel of what it was like back then by going into the museum and getting up close and personal with the artifacts from long ago.

Day trip to Martha’s Vineyard and what a great decision to take a tour plus get Stan the Man as driver. Stan knows the island and tidbits of information plus history that no one else would be able to share. He was excited to share, answered questions and very friendly! We had a great day - including his recommendation for a place to have lunch. Thanks Stan!!

The place we went by were they filmed scenes from jaws. Plus the drive was very funny and kept the trip interesting

I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews, but this experience calls for an exception. The All Island Bus Tour I took had no resemblance to the description on the website. I’ve never been on a tour where a guide (Stan) spent a large portion of narrative complaining about traffic, rather than seizing on the opportunity of extra time to expand on history or answer questions. Instead, we received only minimal history of the island, and the guide was totally unprepared to answer even the most basic of questions. Instead, we heard tales of where the guide went fishing as a child or a past job as a garbage truck driver. We were not offered water, as stated on the website, nor were images or historic photos used on the bus TV screen. The guide asked several times if anyone needed to catch the ferry back to the mainland, as if for an excuse to speed up our pace and make up for lost time in traffic, thereby skipping some of the stops listed on the tour. I would suggest intensive training for the guide. Bottom line, just because someone is home grown, doesn’t necessarily make them a tour guide.
