Our All Island Bus tour is for those that want to get an overall idea of what Marthas Vineyard is and be able to do a little shopping, eating and sightseeing. Being narrated by a third generation Islander, we have loads of history to tell along with personal stories to highlight.

What To Expect

Aquinnah Cliffs

See the maestic Clay Cliffs and Gay Head Lighthouse. We spend time here for shopping, eating and sightseeing.

Martha's Vineyard Camp meeting Association (MVCMA)

Learn all about the Gingerbread Cottages in the Methodist Campgrounds, See the iron Tabernacle and some of its original seats from the 1800s, The Pink House and The home where President Grant gave a speech. Get a feel of what it was like back then by going into the museum and getting up close and personal with the artifacts from long ago.

The tour guide/driver was excellent. I was disappointed that the tour did not live up to its advertisement to include bottled water, snacks,rain ponchos, swag bags for every passenger.

Thanks for the feedback... not sure why that is still advertised as the swag bags went out of commission two years ago... All of our water, snacks and ponchos are upon request Thanks so much for touring....

Excellent communication through text. There was a delay to the start time and they gave me enough information so that I took the ferry at a later time. They also provided helpful information on how to get the ferry and which one to take. The tour itself was fantastic. We had several stops where we could get off and take pics. Make sure you use the restroom at the ferry before you get onboard the tour bus. If not, be prepared to use the porta potty on the stops. Our tour guide, Devin, is a 4th generation islander and shared a lot about the history. He was very engaging and friendly. You definitely need to book the tour to get a feel for the island. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! From the beginning, Dee Dee was so lovely, helpful and accommodating with all of my questions with booking the tour! She went the extra mile and called me the day of the tour to make sure we didn't miss our ferry, she's awesome! Our tour guide, Paul was very friendly, nice, knowledgeable and enthralled us with the history of the island! We had such a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of the bus tour. We look forward to taking the tour again with HomeGrown Tours! Excellent!
