The tour gives you a general idea of what is on the island. Expect it to be a "quick" drive out to the north shore with a couple of stops at tourist traps, with most of the time spent on the bus. This all sounds reasonable. However, our tour guide (Robert) was unacceptably misogynistic and racist. I understand taking 5+ hrs to a group without putting everyone to sleep is no easy task, but his humor needs to be checked or at least restrained. Comments such as "here, you can all get off, except the single ladies -you can stay on the bus with me" are just creepy. Or despective comments on certain racial groups saying you can point them out because they are tiny, but to beware because they are violent, is just not sensitive.

Thank you so much for letting me know about this. I'll definitely talk to them about the sense of humor being a little too much. I can definitely say he was trying to be silly but that's no excuse to behave that way.

When I had called to inquire about this tour, I was told it was an elegant limo style bus. It would include snorkeling with the turtles and everyone was guaranteed to see them. I am a first time snorkeler and I was told on the phone the tour guide would help me. I booked the tour for myself and two other people. The bus was 30 minutes late to pick us up and when I called to see if I was at the right location or it was cancelled no one answered the phone. It was far from an elegant limo style bus! It was a small loud bus that felt like it was going to fall apart. The seats were very small and uncomfortable. The tour guide and the bus driver failed to introduce themselves. First of all it is not a snorkeling tour with the turtles! The tour guide said the city banned swimming at the beach we were going to. When people started to get upset that it should have been disclosed to us then he said ā€œok itā€™s your lucky day, I will take youā€. When we got to the beach it was dirty. We were provided fins and a snorkeling mask, not given instructions or help on what to do . When I asked the tour guide where the title were he said you had to swim far out there and they pop there heads up. As a first time snorkeler I didnā€™t feel comfortable swimming far out by myself or without proper training. We didnā€™t stop at all the locations that were listed on the website. The place we stopped at for lunch at the macadamia nut farm was terrible ! The steak was all fat and a weird gray color, the shrimp dish was small and no flavor. Towards the end of the tour before drop off the tour guide kept pointing to a sign about how we have to tip 18-20% of what we paid for the tour. I donā€™t mind tipping and have on other tours before, however he kept saying it overt and over. It made me feel uncomfortable and put a bad taste in my mouth. It was a long 10 hour day of false advertisement. Very unorganized! Do not recommend this to anyone!

I reached out to this person on Yelp and we discovered that her party did not go on our tour. They booked a Groupon ad that looks like us and this is what they experienced. We have nothing to do with Groupon. We don't serve steak on our tour nor do we have "limo" buses. We don't have a sign that tells people to tip 18-20% - that's also illegal. Snorkeling too close to turtles is also illegal. What I notice is there's actually a lot of abuse with all these "tour operators". I encourage everyone when they see these things to call the Hawaii Tourism Authority. If you want to book I also recommend doing so on our TripAdvisor or Viator page because there are also a lot of false / scam websites pretending to be us as well.
