Overview

Alpine Visitors Centre Tour - This is a great tour if you wish to cover all 3 ecosystems. We start in the lower valley and get you right up to the Alpine Visitors Centre at 11,796 feet. You will encounter breathtaking views, but remember to layer up and bring warm clothes as there is usually snow at the top year round. We get you to the areas most people drive past and give you extra time at each stop for photos. Tours are interpretive and we leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Alpine Visitor Center

At the Alpine Visitors Center, guests will have the opportunity to purchase snacks, coffee etc. We have a 30 -45 minute break

Julie was the perfect guide. We drove behind her and she would talk to us on a walkie talkie. She would share facts and history with us the whole way, while pointing out natural wonders. Julie made frequent stops for photo ops and to point things out. I know we would not have seen as much on our own, and if we saw it we wouldn’t know the significance. At the end we went our own way to picnic in the park, and Julie even told us some good picnic spots.

The office realy does care once you drop you CC payment. Fancy web site doest not function on Android phone. Called and left phone numerous times requesting a callbacks. ZERO response! So good luck with that. Met John, our guide, at the city visitor center. We drove Old Falls River Rd. Beautiful drive. John shared his deep knowledge of the biology, ecology, and history of EP and RMNP area. Exceeded our expectations. Great time worth the cost.
