Thoroughly enjoyed my hike. I guess we lucked out in that it was a breezy day so the hike was pleasantly "cool". Henry is obviously passionate about what he does. Good sense of humor too! Learnt quite a bit about cacti too -- more than just succulent prickly stuff! Healthy and educational 2 hours! Note -- drink lots of water!

Matt Kalina took me and my wife Kim on the two hour guided hike. Matt made this hike a fantastic experience for us. Matt was very patient with us and let us hike at our own pace taking in all the sights around us. Matt is very knowledgeable about the Sonoran Desert and shared his knowledge with as we hiked the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. If you’re looking for a sunset experience in the desert we can’t recommend this one enough.

The logistics for the hike were perfect. Jennifer texted me the day before with details and they sent them in an email. Jennifer was an amazing guide. She catered the difficulty of the hike to our needs. The sunrise was amazing and we enjoyed every bit of information we learned along the way. Highly recommend !
