Lofton Creek is the area's most popular and scenic trip. Paddlers of all skill levels will enjoy this trip for the abundant plant and wildlife year-round. With no way of getting lost, paddlers can confidently paddle as far as they'd like before returning to the boat ramp. Lofton Creek is sheltered from the wind by trees and is the only trip in the area that is unaffected by wind.

Amelia Island Newcomer’s Club books monthly kayaking adventures with Up The Creek Expeditions. Our paddles have had anywhere from 2-11 participants over the last year. We always have a great time. Pete and Jen are timely, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. The last two months trips have been on Lofton Creek north and south from the Yulee launch. The trips are enjoyable for any age and kayaking abilities and instruction is provided if needed. We have also been on 3 trips in southern Georgia, Cumberland Island, Egan’s Creek, and Big Talbot Island in the past year and each has been different and exciting. Highly recommend their company for your next adventure!

This was such a great activity for my family. Booking was easy and everything was ready upon our arrival. Lofton Creek provided not only a scenic view, but also the chance to see a bit of wildlife. Because this is a self-guided tour, you can move at your own pace and upon your return, a staff member is ready to help you unload and takes care of the kayaks. This is definitely something we will do again. A word of advice, the directions listed on the ticket are correct. The boat launch had me confused, as I was expecting to see a depot/shop for the organizer. However, we immediately saw the trailer with kayaks when we drove into the parking lot.

The staff was wonderful! Kind, informative, & helpful. We had a beautiful trip down Lofton Creek....serene, peaceful, and meditative. It was my husband’s first time and he loved it. We both highly recommend.
