The terrestrial nature of the forest attracts pileated woodpeckers, red shoulder hawks, and the curious anhinga, sometimes referred to as the “water turkey.” The protected makeup of Lofton Creek means paddling here is “weather resistant” to tumultuous coastal conditions. Amazing experience! We kayaked to Cumberland island. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend. They are very experienced and have a tour to suit all levels. I’ve kayaked before but learned so much on this trip! I am already planning on bringing another group of visitors out with them on another tour and would really like to do one of their boat rentals. Great people and great service. Highly, highly recommend.
