Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

The crew was amazing. Enjoyed the experience immensely. Would recommend to anyone looking to creating a keystone to there trip to Hilton Head.

On a delightful day weather wise,the cruise was memorable. For a while…it felt like we were racing in the Americas Cup. Nothing like the wind in your face! The crew was super helpful/knowledgeable. I would do this again!

We had beautiful weather sailing out of Harbourtown on a historic sailboat, and saw a lot of wildlife, including dolphins and sting rays. The sail could have been better had the crew been more engaging to all passengers. We were fortunate to have been sitting near the captain where we could ask questions directly, but the majority of other passengers did not have that opportunity. Also it would have been beneficial to all passengers to have had some basic instruction about sailing, the Stars and Stripes sailboat history, geography and wildlife of the area. We were also a little cramped because the website stated 14 passengers total, and the actual number on board was 22. Improving the engagement with passengers would make this experience worthy of five stars.
