Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

We did the sunset cruise on Stars and Stripes. It was a pleasant experience and the sunset was stunning. We saw one dolphins way off in the distance and although that wasnt the purpose of the cruise everyone hoped to see more but the captain made no effort to find them. Being on the Stars and Stripes was a fun experience and the junior crew members were friendly. So why only 3 stars? Because the experience could have been so much better if the Captain was the least bit interested in making it so. Even though there was wind he sailed out, tacked once and slowly sailed back not setting the sails in anyway to make the boat go fast or make the tour interesting. He never welcomed anyone into the boat and never left his seat by the wheel. Never even bothered to speak to those sat at the front of the boat. Never offered anyone or take the helm for a moment. Actually did nothing to make the tour fun for anyone just talked of how great it was to sail a boat someone else owned so he could enjoy the boat with no risk.

Was incredible to be on the boat with so much history and the crew was very attentive. We didn't have the best winds but enjoyed incredible weather during our sail. The captain, Cody, and Riley all made a fantastic experience for us!

Such a fantastic experience! The captain and crew were full of interesting knowledge and made the whole time entertaining. They also encourage guests to help operate the sail boat. Those who do are rewarded with a free drink. And we saw SO MANY DOLPHINS! They were up close to the boat and everything. Fantastic experience, all the way around.
