Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

I brought my family to get an experience on a classic racing boat. My teenage kids and wife had heard my stories of racing a similar big boat in my younger days. The boat and weather were nice with light to moderate winds on the sound. The three young crew members were nice but mostly inexperienced. Unfortunately the Captain has seen better days. He neither greeted nor said goodbye to the passengers who are there for an experience. He didn’t speak to the passengers or offer any history/fun facts about the boat or local surroundings. He did talk to an older couple at the back of the boat for a while but essentially ignored the rest of us. I never spoke to him even though I was right next to him for several minutes. Get a new captain and a more experienced crew.

Aboard now on stars and stiles. Sails up but captain just hanging out talking we are pretty much just having in the harbor doing nothing not steering into the wind or heading anywhere. Will not do it again

This sail was a lot of fun! The crew was friendly and allowed us to help sail the boat. It was very relaxing.
