Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

I have been a fan of the America's Cup since the 1980's. Getting a chance to sail on Stars & Stripes was an awesome experience. The Captain and First Mate were great. They solicited participation from all of the passengers who were interested in being part of the crew. Got a chance to steer the boat, and work the rigging, as did my sons. Sail was just long enough to get a real falvor for the boat and experience, but not so long that people got bored. Just a great time.

An absolutely wonderful afternoon cruise on the infamous and beautiful Stars & Stripes yacht, that won the America's Cup in Australia in 1987. The sun, the breeze, the full sail, and the sound of the water rippling along the hull was mesmerizing. Captain Peter and his crew were personable and attentive to the needs of the passengers. Further, Captain Peter pointed out points of interest involving the famous owners of nearby islands and the contributions that they had made, both to the Hilton Head area and the nation. An experience to enrich the lives of everyone who sails with this gracious Lady, Stars & Stripes !
