Welcome aboard for a thrilling 2.5 hour sailing adventure aboard USA 76, an International America’s Cup Class racing yacht that challenged in 2003 for sporting’s oldest active trophy, the America’s Cup. Feel the adrenaline as the yacht powers up and we sail towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Public trips are conducted multiple days a week, year round, departing from PIER 39 in San Francisco.

What To Expect

Golden Gate Bridge

We will sail under the Golden Gate Bridge weather permitting.

Alcatraz Island

We will sail past Alcatraz Island with views of the Warden's residence, cell blocks, and historical graffiti from the Occupation of Alcatraz.

Sausalito

When the winds are good on the north side of the Bay we will do a flyby of the Sausalito waterfront.

Angel Island State Park

Angel Island is a dominant feature of the Bay and we will have good views of the southern shore of the island.

Crissy Field

Crissy Field is usually buzzing with activity and it serves as a launch point for some of the best windsurfers and kiteboarders in the world.

Ferry Building Marketplace

The iconic Ferry Building is just as beautiful from the water as it is from land.

San Francisco Bay Bridge

If weather conditions at the Golden Gate Bridge are unfavorable, we often find the Bay Bridge and South Bay beyond has great sailing.

Awesome day sailing. Great views and explanations of the boat and how it works. Crew gets the passengers involved if you want to help out, including grinding, steering, and helping lift and put away the sails. Very fun...bring a jacket even if it's warm outside, it gets chilly with the wind. You'll have a new appreciation of sailing and get great views of San Francisco along the way.

1st time lifetime on a sailboat! Several highly experienced sailors on the Bay tour today along with first-timers; it made no difference at all. The crew was extremely friendly and inclusive, everybody had a chance to steer, and all had the opportunity to participate on the "grinders." The group moved side to side as needed to balance the boat with the low side tilting almost into the when we had the best wind of the day! It's a long, racing boat and sails up to twice a fast as smaller "regular" sailboats - it was EXCITING! The captain went out of his way to talk to people, was enthusiastic about sailing and very knowledgeable about the operation of his boat. It was a lot of fun.

It was really a thrill to be on, and help sail, such a high performance boat. The captain and crew were fantastic; personable, but also very professional and competent. You could do as little or as much as you wanted to in terms of helping with the sailing. It was an extra treat that we were able to make it out past the Golden Gate a little ways. I definitely recommend warm, windproof clothes ( they also have jackets to lend for the sail .)
